Honorable Ambassador of the United Republic of Tanzania Prof. Elizabeth K. Kiondo met with the Vice Rector of Istanbul Culture University Prof. Dr. Nihal Sarier at Istanbul Culture University. This is due to their invitation on March 09 - 13, 2020 at Istanbul. The visit will strengthen the bilateral and economic cooperation between Tanzania and Turkey so as to increase trade and cooperation. Also the missions objective of increasing educational, social and economic relations between the two countries.
The visit was also comprised with the meetings and presentations with the General Secretary of Istanbul Chamber of Industry Mr. Haktan Akın, General Secretary of Turkish Clothing Manufacturers Association (TGSD) Ms. Ulkem Genc Yaman, Director of Photography Service of Milliyet newspaper Mr. Bünyamin Aygün and Turkish Travel Agencies and Tour Operators Association (TURSAB) Chairman Mr. Firuz B. Baglıkaya.
The feedback of the trip comes positive after Istanbul Culture University to offer scholarships to Tanzanian Students looking to study in Turkey. Also Ambassador invited the University to participate at the Educational Fair in Tanzania that will take place in July, 2020.
